September 17, 2022 our Rotary Club visited Kiini where we planted hundreds of trees.
Trees planting is one of the most environmentally friendly activity that people can do on our planet. There are multiple benefits of trees planting: trees remove and store carbon from atmosphere, prevent risk of flooding through slowing of heavy rain. Trees have positive impact on peoples mental health and their wellbeing, they create wildlife habitat.
Planting of trees builds community spirit and unity.

This date we will not forget for some time. Rotary Club of Meru and Rotaract Clubs welcomed our District Governor Azeb Asrat.
This visit brought us a lot of joy and good memories.
