Public Relations Committee


This subcommittee seeks to promote awareness among Rotarians that effective external publicity, favorable public relations and a positive image are desirable and essential goals for Rotary.


Purpose:

This subcommittee is tasked with promoting the club to the external audiences and fostering understanding, appreciation and support for our programs and activities.


Duties and Responsibilities:


 -Assist and encourage the club to make public relations (PR) a priority;

 -Promote Rotary to external audiences, such as the media, community leaders, and beneficiaries of club's programs and events;

 -Contact the media with newsworthy stories of club's projects and events;

 -Keep in touch with the District Governor and the chairpersons of key committees to stay informed about district projects and activities;

 -Share RI public relations materials
